If you could wake up tomorrow having gained any one new ability OR quality, what would it be?
The ability to make music. I listen with enthusiasm, but my attempts at playing are abysmal
If you want to share >> About Me:
South African male, 60 years old, married to a fabulous younger woman, in business with a dynamic younger woman and in a circle of younger friends who all challenge me, get me to question my opinions, beliefs and habits and give me massive hope for a world that needs people like them.
Do you have a project that you are utterly impassioned by at the moment?
There are 2 related projects. The 1st is working with Entrepreneurs, providing a support forum for the growth of their businesses. The 2nd is for Manhood and the transitions we have to make from boyhood to mature masculinity in a new and challenging world.

He can get his driver’s license, he can buy alcohol in a bar and bottle store, he can buy cigarettes, he can sign his… Continue

Jon Kabat-Zinn's workshops on Mindfulness

Mindfulness - a state of conscious awareness. Much of our waking life is spent in anticipation of some forthcoming event - the meeting we are going to, the holiday we are planning, and we allow very little time for the here and now. We may be walking on a beach or sitting in conversation with friends, yet our attention is elsewhere. A powerful way to slow the pace of the life we lead is to take moments during the day when we bring ourselves into direct awareness of where we are, how we are feel… Continue
