If you could wake up tomorrow having gained any one new ability OR quality, what would it be?
The ability to choose one ability or quality out of the many I haven't got...
If you want to share >> About Me:
A career path which illustrates the other meaning of the word "career"...as in "career about the deck like a loose cannon..." - anyway, after 15 years in industry, enfing up as HR manager of a major retailer, I gave all that up and started working in experiential learning and development training - which I still do, although of late my thoughts have taken a critical turn and my enrgy's more in reflection and study of epxeriential learning than in running manangement programmes...
Do you have a project that you are utterly impassioned by at the moment?
Getting a Doctorate =on my own terms.

Hi Bill,

Hope you haven't forgotten that you are a member of this group! Putting up some of your papers would be good; also there is a discussion on the go (very slowly) around "favourite" learning cycles - I am sure you must have at least one!

Take care

Bob

Hi Bill, very impressed by website. I am interested in exploring the idea of experiential learning in an educational ngo environment. Currently doing MBA at UCT, and exploring avenues for research. Still very broad topic area, but would like to network with you during the course of the year....

Not much outdoors Bill, with the A/L. lots of longish programmes though from almost artisan work to directing and owning. Surprisingly there isn't much outdoor work here I think because it needs some better interpreters. Last time we did some with a GPS in a game reserve, picking up clues left, only to find a family of rhino standing and laying dung on one clue. Tricky that. Any ideas?

Sounds very satisfying Bill - how is Jo? I am working on various things, lots of action learning and leadership work. Good luck with the doctorate - what area?
